Hello, I'm Timea, the founder of Steady Study Studio.
I am a native Hungarian speaker and teacher, born and raised in Hungary. I have been living in the United States for 12 years, so I understand what it means to carry two countries in your heart and to want to keep your Hungarian roots alive, even when you live far from Hungary.

Why I Created Steady Study Studio
I created Steady Study Studio for people living outside Hungary who would like to reconnect with their Hungarian heritage.
Perhaps your parents or grandparents spoke Hungarian. Maybe you remember a few familiar words, a favorite meal, a family nickname, or a proverb you heard growing up. Or perhaps you are beginning with no Hungarian at all and simply want to learn more about where your family came from.
Wherever you are starting, you are welcome here.
My goal is to make Hungarian feel approachable, meaningful, and enjoyable. Hungarian may have 44 letters—but don't worry, we will make friends with them one at a time!

Learning with Warmth and Encouragement
I believe that learning should never feel cold or intimidating. At Steady Study Studio, Hungarian is taught in small, manageable steps, with clear explanations, cultural connections, encouragement, and a little playfulness along the way.
The Beginner Hungarian Workbook was created mainly with children in mind, but I warmly recommend it to adults as well. Sometimes learning like a child—reading aloud, repeating words, listening, coloring, playing, and being curious—is the most natural way to begin.
The workbook and its accompanying audio help learners practice pronunciation, build confidence, and enjoy their first steps into the Hungarian language.

It is about recognizing words your grandmother once used, understanding the meaning behind Hungarian traditions, and perhaps one day speaking a few Hungarian sentences with someone you love.
